Every patient should have appropriate access to a breast care nurse. Over the last six years Breakthrough has supported professional development for breast care nurses through our annual Breast Care Conference, demonstrating our strong commitment to these vital posts. However, we are concerned that specialist nursing posts may be cut or frozen in an attempt to reduce expenditure across the NHS.
