Be an Intern

A Breakthrough internship is an excellent way to learn about and contribute to the work of a major charity.

You’ll volunteer within one of our key departments and will be given a specific project to complete along with some administration duties. The role also involves shadowing team members and attending meetings – both internally and externally – which will give you a real insight into how we work at Breakthrough.

Your internship ends with you giving a presentation to your host team.

Brand and Communications team

An internship opportunity has arisen in our Brand and Communications team for someone interested in a career in marketing and communications. 

It will be for 3 months from September - November 2010 and will support us in 3 key projects:

• the compilation of a library of case studies from interviews already collected
• the archiving of our historical communications for future reference
• the publication of our Breakthrough Magazine including copywriting, editing, proofreading and editorial production.

Media team
