Take Action on Campaigns

Because an increasing number of decisions about health policy and service delivery are taken locally, the need for local campaigning is greater than ever.

Whilst we campaign nationally to influence Government decisions and policies on breast cancer services, our network of local campaigners – people like you – opens up new opportunities in places we can’t reach. We work with our members to ensure that your support not only makes a difference to those affected by breast cancer but also reflects your interests and expectations.

So, by becoming a member of Breakthrough CAN you will be joining our national campaigns to secure improvements in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

£3 a month over a year could buy 20 flasks used by our scientists to grow breast cancer cells in the laboratory.

£5 a month buys 100 microscope slides needed to look at cells in great detail under a microscope – enabling scientists to better understand breast cancer and develop new treatments.

£10 a month buys storage containers for blood samples used in the Breakthrough Generations Study. These samples will help scientists discover the causes of breast cancer.
