Payroll Giving
Help our work – through yours
Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn, is a really efficient way to donate to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Not only does the taxman lend a helping hand - your employer may match your donation too.
Our research depends heavily on regular income. So, with your help, our scientists can continue looking for ways to prevent and treat breast cancer for many years to come.
With Payroll Giving, your donation to Breakthrough is made before tax deductions. This makes it the most tax-effective way to donate – especially for higher rate tax payers. Here’s how Payroll Giving affects your take-home pay:
| Your monthly pledge | Deduction from your salary | ||
| 20% tax payer | 40% tax payer | 50% tax payer | |
| £5.00 | £4.00 | £3.00 | £2.50 |
| £10.00 | £8.00 | £6.00 | £5.00 |
| £15.00 | £12.00 | £9.00 | £7.50 |
